Who can you help by donating blood? Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. Blood donors help people of all ages; accident and burn victims, and heart surgery and organ transplant patients. Blood is essential for surgeries, chronic illnesses, traumatic injuries, and cancer treatment. On Monday, March 10 from 12:30pm to 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall, the American Red Cross will accept your life-giving donation. To learn more about giving blood or to make an appointment to donate on March 10 at PoP, visit redcrossblood.org. Volunteer helpers needed! There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex.
